PASSION FOR RC RACING & HYDROPLANE BOATS

Mike Dunn is an avid RC racer who has been around the industry since the early 1990’s. He originally started in 1/10 scale off road racing at Southern California race tracks such as The Ranch Pit Stop, M&M Hobbies in Corona and other notable facilities. After this he moved into 1/4 scale with QSAC west and his first year in that club he was 2nd for Rookie of the year. During this time he also raced on road 1/10 scale with Tamiya F1 cars during the 1990’s racing at Tamiya in Aliso Viejo and local church parking lots where tracks were springing up all over Southern California. After taking a break from the RC world for two decades, he has now returned to 1/10 Hydroplane RC boats in 1/10 scale. His passion and desire for this has fueled his drive to build scale RC boat parts. He races in ERCU in Washington and in Namba District 19 in Southern CA. MDRP ( Mike Dunn Racing products) has partnered with a local boat driver David Hilton and together they have launched the name, "M&D RC hydroplane race boats” These boats are in Fiberglass or carbon and proven to be winners on local lakes. Both guys take pride in the boats produced and product being delivered to the race enthusiast.
